Abstract

PURPOSE:To display even the calendars of the previous year and the next and subsequent years by providing a data calculating part to the calendar display device using liquid crystals, LEDs, etc. and suitably moving the month. CONSTITUTION:The respective sets of information of the hour, minute and second having been obtained in a time counting part 3 are digitally displayed in a display part 5 via display switching circuit 4. A data information part 6 sends the year, month the date information to the circuit 4 and at the same time sends the yeat, date and leap year information to a calendar display control circuit 7. A counting part 6 of a perpetual calendar constitution is provided with a date counter 6a which obtains date information by counting the pulse signals at each 24 hours from the counting part 3, a month counter 6b, a month end control part 6c, a year counter 6d and a leap year detecting circuit 6e. A day reference counter 6f is beforehand sets at ''0'' to ''6'' for Sunday to Nonday. Advance signals of +4 when the month end is an odd month of 31 days, +5 if an even month of 30 days and +6 in February of a leap year are applied to the counter 6f from the day control part 6g. The control circuit 7 receives both and count values of the counter 6f and the year, month, date and leap yeat information and display drives a display part 9 according to the operation output signal from a switch part 8.
