Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a reinforced plastic tube at a low cost without using expensive reinforcing materials, by curing a paper tube as a reinforcing material inpregnated with a resin from the periphery and inside.
CONSTITUTION: The paper strip material 2 is wrapped around the mandrel 1 to form the papor tube 5', to which the modling material 6' containing a filler is attached to form the intermediate layer 6. The tubular material thus abtained is passed through the heating furnace 8 to impregnate the resin in the material 6' partly to the outer surface of the paper tube 5' and to cure it. The cured tubular body is dipped and impregnated with a resin from the inside of the paper tube 5' and hot- cured, thus giving a reinforced plastic tube having the cured resin impregnated inner surface layer 5.
