Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform stable drive with suppression of changeover time to supplementary fuel as minimum by forcibly modifying integrating output signals of a steam pressure regulating gauge when rapid additional ignition of emergency supplementary fuel should be done at the time of losing normal main fuel.
CONSTITUTION: Fuel in the main fuel system MF is normally burned with use of a main burner 6A, steam load L is driven by steam of a boiler 1. Besides, fluctuation of steam pressure is converted into signals by a steam pressure signal generator 2, a main fuel regulating valve 5A is controlled by a steam pressure regulating gauge 3. When the main fuel has been lost, drive is continued likewise by changing it over to fuel of a supplementary fuel system AF, a switch 10 is closed instantly with lost of the main fuel, when integrating output signals of the steam pressure regulating gauge 3 is forcibly modified to feed supplementary fuel enough to cater for steam generating gain right before losing the main fuel. Modification is done by a steam flow gain detector 7, a steam flow gain signal generator 8, and a steam/fuel arithmetic operating unit 9.
