Abstract

PURPOSE: To circulate an appropriate amount of hot air recovered after drying process for reuse by heating it after condensing and removing moisture contained in hot air by bringing it into direct contact with cooling water utilizing wastewater from a sewerage plant.
CONSTITUTION: A part of exhaust hot air after drying process via an exhaust pipe 9 provided with a control damper 10 is collected into a wet scrubber 11 and cooled by bringing it into contact with cooling water from a sprinkler tube 13, and moisture in the hot air is condensed and purged from exhaust air. This recovered hot air is fed back to a reheating furnace 2 by means of a blower 14 and is caused to circulate in the dryer 1 mixed with hot air supplied externally. Cooling water used in the scrubber 11 is supplied by a pump 16 from a wastewater tank 17 of a sewerage facility.
