Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the energy recovering efficiency through control of a top pressure of the reactor by operation of a governor valve for a turbine generator.
CONSTITUTION: During the operation of a turbine 9, with septum valves 12 to 14 fully closed, all the gas generated in a blast furnace 3 is let to flow to the turbine 9. A turbine governor valve 8 is operated by a turbine governor 23 to control the top pressure of the blast furnace 3 and a flow rate regulation control section of gas cleaner 5 is operated with a gas flow rate control device 21 so that a difference in pressure before and after the gas washing device is retained to ensure the dust collection effect. A septum valve control device 22 operates a control valve 12 in cooperation with the gas flow rate control device 21 to allow the turbine 9 to start without turbulence in the blast furnace system.
