Abstract

PURPOSE: To allow purging in proportion to the rpm of engine by purging fuel vapor absorbed in the canister into air filter with part of secondary air.
CONSTITUTION: Air conduit 17 for purge is connected between secondary air outlet pipe 10 of air pump 8 and lower part of canister 11 besides conduit 18 is connected between upper part of canister 11 and air filter 5. Part of secondary air is carried into canister 11 as purging air. In the canister 11, fuel vapor as absorbed by charcoal 12 is detouched from the charcoal 12 by sypplied air. The fuel vapor is thus purged into air filter 5 through conduit 18 and then carried into carbureter 3.
