Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain copies of a fixed image density by beforehand giving light fatigue to the arsenic-selenium-base photoreceptor for electrophotography to be reiteratively used then using the same.
CONSTITUTION: In making plural copies involving reiterative use of an arsenic-selenium-base photoreceptor for electrophotography (containing relatively a large amount, e.g., about 25wt% of arsenic), light fatigue is given to the photoreceptor from the first use by radiating the photoreceptor from the first use by radiating the photoreceptor with light of wavelengths of 6000W10000Å, after which the applied voltage in charging process is adjusted according to this light fatigue degree and the charging potential required, whereby copying is done.
