Abstract
PURPOSE:To perfectly destaticize photoreceptor surface and achieve the stabilization of images by making the photoreceptor surface potential of the minus polarity after the toner image transfer in reversal development process to slightly plus potential then destaticizing the photoreceptor with a destaticizing lamp. CONSTITUTION:In reversal development process, a transfer charger 5 becomes minus potential and the surface potential of the photoreceptor 1 after the transfer becomes minus potential. Thereupon, plus DC potential is applied by a destaticizing charger 7 to the surface of a photoreceptor 1 to make it to slightly plus potential, after which the surface potential of the photoreceptor is made perfectly to zero volts by radiation of light with a destaticizing lamp 8. In this way, the surface of the photoreceptor 1 going to the charging charger 2 after the transfer becomes perfectly destaticized state and the stabilization of the initial value of the next process may be accomplished and the stable good images obtained.
