Abstract
PURPOSE:To bring a separation into a color signal and luminance signal excellently by adding and subtracting a video signal to and from a signal obtained from the video signal by delaying through an ultrasonic solid-state delay line. CONSTITUTION:Part of input signal 11 is extracted by voltage dividing load 14 and the rest is inputted to the ultrasonic solid-state delay line via input transducer 13. When the input signal is a NTSC color video signal, its color signal has been interpolated in the high-band component of its luminance signal in the form of a carrier signal. Through the ultrasonic solid-state delay line, an input signal and output signal are given no difference in phase in a low band and are provided with comb line filter characteristics in a high band, operation band. Therefore, setting the operation band of the ultrasonic solid-state delay line to the band of the video signal separates the input NTSC video signal into a sum signal and difference signal through the composition of output transducer 15.
