PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient performance even when a 1H delay line of narrow band width is used and to prevent deterioration in resolution accompanying with it, by providing a comb line filter, for separating a color signal, independently to the 1H delay line for luminance signal separation. CONSTITUTION:An input signal from terminal 1 is suppled to AM modulator 3, whose modulated signal has a standard frequency color signal separated and extracted through comb line filter 19 and this signal is supplied to adder 15 via BPF6. Further, the modulated signal from modulator 3 is supplied to 1H delay line 20 as well and a dropout compensating signal is supplied to terminal 10 via envelope detector 7, LPF8 and delay line 9. Furthermore, the signal separated from the output of LPF8 via BPF21 is supplied to adder 12 and has a low frequency conversion color signal removed through the comb line filter composed of 1H delay line 20, delay line 11 and adder 12, so that a luminance signal will appear at the output of adder 12. This signal is added 15 via frequency correcting circuit 22 and delay line 13, so that a TV signal including the standard frequency color signal appears at terminal 16.
