Abstract

PURPOSE: To recover an organic solvent discharged from a chemical laboratory, etc., quantitatively, and to prevent the pollution of atmospheric air and the quality of water, by a mechanism wherein the organic solvent solution is evaporated in a vessel and vapor generated is condensed in another vessel while a gas not condensed is circulated into the said vessel.
CONSTITUTION: A heated gas sent in the arrow head direction by means of a gas transfer mechanism 3 is blown against an organic solvent solution 4 in a vessel 1. Thus, organic solvent vapor generated is fed into a vessel 2 in a vessel 5 forcedly cooled by means of a refrigerant tube 6. A large portion of the organic solvent vapor is condensed here, and a gas not condensed is again blown against the inside of the vessel 1 through the transfer mechanism 3. A pipe 8 with a cock 7 in a circulation path is connected to a vacuum pump and a nitrogen bomb.
