Abstract

PURPOSE: To completely separate air and other gases from steam by a method wherein steam containing air or the other gases is condensed by contacting the same with condensed water and, thereafter, warm water not containing air and the other gases are evaporated again.
CONSTITUTION: Steam generated in a boiler 1 and steam sucked and recovered by an ejector 3 are sent and injected into condensed water in a steam separation tank 4 through a gas sending pipe 2 to condense the steam itself as well as to separate air and the other gases mixed therein and the separated gases are stored in an upper part of the gas separation tank 4 as well as exhausted to the outside by opening a gas vent 5. The condensed warm water is introduced into a flash tank 7 through a transport pipe 6 to be evapoated again and the generated steam is sent to a steam utilizing apparatus through a steam sending pipe 8. As the result, because said steam is obtained by evaporating warm water again after air and the other gases have been separated and removed in a gas separation tank 4 in the preceding, it is completely pure steam.
