Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve ignition performance by specifying arrangement of an ignition heater.
CONSTITUTION: There is provided an oil-impregnated fabric 1 which is formed of a material such as asbestos and impregnated with a fuel such as petroleum. A coil-formed ignition heater 2 is arranged near the fabric 1, with its one end 3 contacted to or close to the fabric 1 and the other end 4 spaced apart from the fabric 1. Thus, the portion of the heater 2 between the end 3 and the end 4 is spaced steplessly farther from the fabric 1, so that a gap portion suitable for ignition is always provided between the heater 2 and the fabric 1 irrespective of occurrence of displacement and/or wear. As a result, favorable ignition is ensured over a long time period.
