Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the productivity of a coil, by automatically making it on the stator core of a motor, which has recesses in the axial direction.
CONSTITUTION: The stator core 1 is fixed by a clamp 11. A magnet wire 14 is supplied through guides 32, 33 and a nozzle 13 and wound in the recesses on the stator core. The nozzle 13 performs a winding action around a coil guide jig 17. A flier 15 reciprocates while performing a winding action. As a result, the locus of the nozzle is drawn as shown by the two-dot chain line in Fig. The coil made by the winding action of the nozzle slides on the guide surface 35 of the guide jig 17 and automatically drops into a recess of the stator core 11. The clamp 11 is then rotated by a prescribed angle by a motor 38 to make another coil for a next recess.
