Abstract

PURPOSE: To complete the treatments of effective digestion, dehydration, drying, sterilization and other processes in one stage of facility by utilizing the digestion heat, by circulating the mixture of organic matter such as waste water and waste matter and organic matter low in moisture content repeatedly in the high concetration oxygen addition chamber and drying chamber.
CONSTITUTION: The organic matter such as waste water and waste matter mixed with dry straw or the like charged into an oxygen addition chamber 11 from charge pipe 5 in a treating apparatus 1 is blended with high concentration oxygen from a charge pipe 6 while being agitated by an agitator 11. The specified amount of waste water and waste matter adjusted by a gate 15 is placed on a receiving part 31 of a pot conveyor 30 from a flow-out port 3, and is carried to the upper end of a drying chamber 20 extending upwards obliquely, then dropped into the whole area of a chute 23. In this period, the waste matter is dried by the solar heat transmitted through a translucent cover 24 and ventilation through a fan 21. The dropped waste matter enters the chamber 4 again through the flow-in port 2 to be circulated. After sufficient drying, the conveyor 30 is inverted, and the waste matter is taken out from a treated matter hopper 33.
