Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a high corrosion resistant steel plate with excellent surface gloss degree by an method wherein a Ni-Zn alloy coated layer with specific composition is formed on a steel plate and, thereafter, a chromate film is coated. CONSTITUTION:Electroplating is applied to a steel plate within an Ni-Zn plating bath to form an Ni-Zn alloy coated layer of which Ni ratio is 9-20%. Subsequently, if the coated steel plate is immersed in a chromic acid anhydride solution for a predetermined time to adhere 5-50mg/m<2> of chromate film, white rust is prevented and the gloss degree of a plated layer is enhanced as well as corrosion resistance is remarkably enhanced.
