The sealant mentioned above is obtained by mixing a blown asphalt and a cyclopentadiene series petroleum resin in a proportion of 100:50 by weight, and the sealant is dissolved in an appropriate organic solvent and then coated on the surface of the metal sealing plate or injected into between the metal sealing plate and the packing.
