Abstract

PURPOSE: To cool the rotor blade of a gas-turbine efficiently with a relatively small amount of cooling liquid, by providing choking structures for reduction of the sectional area of passage locally in a plurality of cooling-liquid passages extended from the root portion to the top portion of the rotor blade body.
CONSTITUTION: When cooling liquid is introduced into coolant passages 13 from cooling-liquid supply port 14 in the state that rotor blade body 11 and blade base 12 are rotated together, cooling liquid flows from the root portion toward the top of blade 11 and finally discharged to the outside of blade 11. Here, in coolant passages 13, there are provided a plurality of choking structures 15, so that cooling liquid is urged in the direction of arrow Q on the opposite sides of choking structures 15 by the function of Corioli's force. Therefore, cooling liquid is issued to the next section through aperture 17 by the centrifugal force P after it is stagnated for a while in front of each choking structure 15. By thus arranging choking structures having such a function at appropriate intervals, it is enabled to cool the rotor blade uniformly.
