Abstract
PURPOSE:To permit an optimum attenuation characteristic to be simply obtained by permitting the simple operation of a main extension damper valve or a main contraction damper valve and the co-operative operation of main and auxiliary extension damper valves or main and auxiliary contraction damper valves to be obtained independently of each other with the operation of a control valve. CONSTITUTION:When fluid paths 22 and 23 are closed by a control valve V, the fluid pressure in a fluid chamber 6 is coupled to a fluid chamber 7 only through an orifice 11 in a main extension damper valve Me at the tine of elongation of an oil hydraulic pressure damper 1, while the fluid pressure in the fluid chamber 7 is coupled to the fluid chamber 6 only through an orifice 18 in a main contraction damper valve Mc at the time of contraction of the oil hydraulic pressure damber 1. Thus, a high damping force characteristic can be obtained. When the fluid paths 22 and 23 are opened by the control valve V, the fluid pressure in the fluid chamber 6 is coupled to the fluid chamber 7 through main and auxiliary extension damper control valves Me and Ae at the time of elongation of the oil hydraulic damber 1, while the fluid pressure in the fluid chamber 7 is coupled to the fluid chamber 6 through main and auxiliary contraction damper valves Mc and Ac.
