Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a layer short circuit at the time of end connection and also to improve response property by a method wherein plural strands are arranged cylindrically and twisted by a given angle, and another cylinder twisted counter by the same angle is inserted to connect both ends.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of n pieces of coil strands 1 are arranged in parallel with each other to form a cylinder, thus making a straight cylindrical coil 2. Then, a spiral outer cylindrical coil 11 is obtained from twisting the cylindrical coil 2 at 180×(1±2/n) degrees or 360×(1±1/n) degrees. After making a spiral inner cylindrical coil 12 by twisting another cylindrical coil 2 counter by the same angle, the inner cylindrical coil 12 is inserted in the outer cylindrical coil 11, and an armature is made by junctioning the ends sequentially through laser welding. By constituting such, a layer short circuit is prevented at the time of end junction, and thus a high density of armature with response property improved is obtainable.
