Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the successive mass production and to elevate the characteristic of armatures by a method wherein plural strands are wound around on a cylinder surface to form a cylindrical coil, and the same number of strands are wound around the circumference of the cylindrical coil twisting in the opposite direction, and the coils are connected at the both ends to form a closed loop. CONSTITUTION:The plural n pieces of strands 1 are wound around twisting on the circumference of a cylindrical metal core 22 to form the inner cylindrical coil 11. Then the same number of pieces of strands 1 are wound around the outer cirucumference of the inner cylindrical coil 11 twisting in the opposite direction having the same angle with the inner cylindrical coil to form the outer cylindrical coil 12. The inner cylindrical coil 11 and the outer cylindrical coil 12 are taken off together from the metal core 22, and after it is cut at every length L corresponding to the angle of torsion 180 (1+ or -2/n) degrees, the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder are electrically connected at the both end parts to form the armature 16. By this way, the freedom of the coil pattern is enlarged, the commutated wave form becomes faborable and the mechanical strength of the armature 16 can be elevated.
