Abstract

PURPOSE: To effect various works safely and assuredly with a hydraulic actuator by connecting a high pressure pilot valve and a low pressure pilot valve in parallel with each other to pilot duct lines of a pilot type crossover relief valve while a manually operable change-over valve is connected to the low pressure pilot valve.
CONSTITUTION: A high pressure pilot valve 28 and a low pressure pilot valve 30 are connected in parallel with each other to pilot duct lines of a pilot type crossover relief valve 19 while a manually operable change-over valve 32 is provided upstream of the low pressure pilot valve 30. When the change-over valve 32 is changed over to its open position, a hydraulic motor 4 is acted upon by a weak braking force. On the contrary, when the change-over valve 32 is changed over to its closed position, the hydraulic motor 4 is acted upon by a strong force. Thus, the hydraulic motor 4 can be operated and controlled in accordance with working range, load conditions, color conditions, and so on, whereby various works can be effected safely and assuredly with the hydraulic actuator.
