Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an adhesive with excellent processability, adhesivity, weather resistance, water resistance or the like comprising a specific ethylene-vinyl acetate graft polymer.
CONSTITUTION: In a vinyl acetate monomer, 5W30wt% of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (vinyl acetate content; 15W50wt%) is dissolved as well as a polymerization initiator (e.g. benzoyl peroxide), an MW-regulating agent (e.g. acetaldehyde) or the like are added and the suspension polymerization is carried out at about 50W80°C to form a graft copolymer and the obtained copolymer is dissolved in an org. solvent such as benzene or ethyl acetate to prepare an adhesive.
