Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a treatment apparatus to recover effectively fuel oil and fuel gas from high-molecular compound wastes, by connecting a thermal decomposition furnace with a cooling tank, the cooling tank with a cleaning tank, and the cleaning tank with a gas holder, respectively, by a pipe for each.
CONSTITUTION: The cover 1a of the decomposition furance 1 is opened, high- molecular compound wastes, eg., used tire, etc., are charged into the furnace 1 and heated and decomposed by closing the cover 1a, and steam generated is flowed through the connection pipe 12 into the cooling tank 2, where the steam is effectively cooled and the fuel oil is obtained because the tank 2 is divided by the shielding wall 22. And, only residual gas flows into the cleaning tank 3 where NOx present is removed by washing with water and the purified gas is passed through the connection pipe 32 and then stored in the gas holder 4. Thus, the high-molecular compound wastes can be effectively recycled and also the occurrence of pollution can be prevented.
