Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a method and an apparatus for treating waste fluid, wherein an exhaust gas from a drum and containing smelly steam, concentrated filtrate, and night soil residue left on a screen are fed individually into a pyrolisis furnace to effectively use the high temperature exhaust gas generated in the pyrolisis furnace to concentrate filtrate.
CONSTITUTION: The night soil introduced into a storage tank 1 is separated into a night soil residue 8 and filtrate by a screen 7, and the night soil residue is then introduced onto a furnace bed 11 to be burned by a burner 12. The filtrate stored in a tank 15 will be fed into a circulation tank 18 wherein the level of the filtrate is kept at a certain level and from which the filtrate is circulated through a waste- heat concentrator 28 wherein the filtrate is stired by blades 35 in a drum 29 to form a liquid film 42 on the inner surface of the drum 29 and receives latent heat of evaporation from an exhaust gas which passes along an outer helical channel 46 and from an exhaust gas which flows countercurrently through an inner space 79 to evaporate. The resulting evaporated steam containing smelly matters and the exhaust gas are injected through a pipe 59 and a nozzle 60 into a pyrolisis furnace 9 in which it is subjected to pyrolysis.
