Abstract
PURPOSE: To make possible recording of impact sustaining time and improve recording and reading accuracy by integrally mounting a measuring instrument within a product in the transportion of the product.
CONSTITUTION: An impact detector 1 which detects mechanical impacts and outputs the same as electric signals, a signal generating part 2 which genertes reference time pulses, an arithmetic part 3 which is inputted with the signals of the detector 1, allows only the signals above a preset level to pass, detects their peak values and calculates the sustaining time of the signals by using the reference time pulses, a memory 5 which stores the peak values of the operated outputs and the sustaining time as digital values, a circuit 6 which controls the storage and read-out of the memory 5 and a power source part 8 for each part are built into a box body consisting of a case 11 and a cover 12. The detecting part 1 is directly fixed to the bottom of the box body and the measuring part 13 and power source part 8 are fixed by way of cushion material 17.
