Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate a failure so as to improve a working efficiency and obtain decorative laminated sheets carrying a high surface hardness by a method wherein a pattern paper and a template embossed only tone patterns and frame patterns respectively are utilized to form by heating.
CONSTITUTION: Decorative prepreg is obtained by impregnating melamine resin varnish into pattern paper composed of only color tones such as ground figures or small figures and drying it. Furthermore, substrate prepreg is obtained by impregnating phenol resin varnish into craft paper and drying it. One sheet of decorative prepreg is put on necessary sheets of laminated substrate prepreg and is formed by a template. The cavity parts on the decorative laminated sheets are colored with the resin solution composed of epoxy resin, amine series hardener and pigment. Concerning to coloring methods, there is one method to print necessary partions through a screen or the like. Clear coating of a surface is effected to improve commercial value and ground portions at least are coated with clear or light colors.
