Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce a fluctuation of potential with a lowered initial potential by connecting in parallel the capacitors at a connection point of the winding wherein the initial voltage is greater than a normal voltage to a shock impressed voltage.
CONSTITUTION: This induction equipment is composed of coils 11 to 16 having a high tension winding connected in series and a tap coil 1T, and a static plate 2 is connected to the end of the winding. A capacitor 6 is provided between a point P and terminal V, or to the tap coil 1T. When a shock voltage E may be impressed onto a terminal U while earthing the terminal V, because the static capacitance between the point P and terminal V is increased by the capacitor 6, an initial potential EP2 at the point P can be restricted to a sufficiently low value, and a resonance frequency be also lowered. As a result, an earth voltage at the point P to the earth and the voltage difference between the terminal U and point P can be reduced, the insulation for the coil 1 and tap switch 5 can be easily established and a cost for the transformer can be also reduced.
