Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure intake and exhaust in good condition by a system wherein a main burner is actuated for combustion upon ensuring a performance of a forced intake/exhaust fan motor, and the fan motor is operated for a preset period of time to postpurge after stopping combustion at the main burner.
CONSTITUTION: A postpurge timer circuit 10 consists of PUT11, resistances 12W15, condenser 16 and transistor 17, working as off-delay timer. An AFS ensiring timer 20 consists of PUT21 and resistances 22W24, working as on-delay timer. Then, a prepurge timer circuit 30 consists of PUT31, resistances 32W34, condenser 35, transistor 36 and relay T3, working as off-delay timer. When a fan motor FM is turned on with an operation switch SW ON, an ignition transformer IG becomes conductive.
