Abstract

PURPOSE: To supply appropriate rate of fuel to each cylnder by providing means to determine the fuel injection starting time and the injecting time of single point type fuel injection device of an internal combustion engine.
CONSTITUTION: One fuel injection valve 12 is provided on a concentric suction pipe 6 part of a multi-cylinder engine 8. Fuel is supplied to the injection valve 12 through a filter 32, a pump 34, and others. The injection valve 12 is also connected to a control circuit 70 to which signals from a suction air rate sensor 24 and a water temperature sensor 56 are input. Provided in the circuit 70 are a computer which determines the injection time by comparing the signals with the target value and a means to make the injecting time variable corresponding to the operating condition of the engine to determine injection time at the time and the ignition time of the ignition device 58.
