Abstract
PURPOSE:To limit a rush current toward a load by controlling the conduction phase angle of a bilateral triode thyristor at the time of a voltage sine wave by triggering the bilateral triode thyristor in conduction and by adjusting the charge voltage value of a capacitor. CONSTITUTION:With operation switch 4 closed, 2nd capacitor is charged in series up to a fixed charge end voltage value via the charge circuit composed of the 1st capacitor 31, 2nd capacitor 32 and switch 4 at a rise of a sine-wave voltage from alternating-current power supply 1. At a fall of the sine-wave voltage, capacitor 32 is discharged this time when the peak value decreases down to sum V1+V2 of charge voltage values of capacitors 31 and 32, thereby triggering bilateral triode thyristor 3 in conduction.
