Abstract
PURPOSE: To make possible the manufacture to be simple and precise, by applying the machining to the second nipple to be used in common as the internal extrusion die, taking the machining center on the different axes of the central axis and the eccentric axis in order to gradually enlarge from the inlet to the depth the sectional area of the external extrusion material's flow pathway.
CONSTITUTION: The second nipple 22 includes the front taper plane 40 and the cylindrical plane 42 whose axis coincides with the axis X0 of the nipple 22; these two planes 40 and 42 possess the chamfered part 44 being tapered placing the machining axis on the eccentric axis X1, being parallel to the axis X0 and being shifted toward the connecting point with the external extrusion material's flow pathway 36. The external extrusion material's flow pathway 38, formed between the nipple 22 and the external extrusion die 24, has the sectional area gradually increasing from the inlet to the depth. The internal extrusion material 2 passes through the pathway 34, and is extruded from the nipple 22 working as the internal extrusion die onto the core wire 1, and the coating layer 2a is formed. On the other hand, the external extrusion material 3 passes through the pathways 36, 38, and is extruded from the die 24 onto the coating layer 2a, and the external coating layer 3a is formed.
