Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a loader, in which a freely expansible dust removing clearance is formed at the lower end of chute so as to draw dust into said clearance, whereby it is enabled to reduce the weight of apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: At the end portion of feed conveyor 1, there is provided a flow diameter restricting pipe 18 whose diameter is reduced at its lower portion, and a conduit consisting of a multiplicity of tapered short tubes is provided downwardly of the pipe 18. On the outside of the conduit, there is provided an airtight expansible pipe 19, and an outer outlet pipe 21 is provided at the lower end of the pipe 19. On the inside of outer pipe 21, there are provided an inner outlet pipe with suitable spacing from the outer pipe 21, and damper pipe 23 and flow restricting plate 24 are disposed in the inner outlet pipe. By restricting the dropping speed of bulk material by means of the above-mentioned lower members, generation of dust can be minimized and dust is drawn out through the clearance between the inner and the outer outlet pipes. Thus, dust can be removed completely.
