Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate heterogeneity due to fluidity of fine particles and increase the product quality, by constituting the filter layer of nozzle pack for melt spinning with fine particles of sand, glass beads, etc., containing the liquid by more than 1 wt.%.
CONSTITUTION: On a wire netting 2 in an outer tube 1 of nozzle pack for melt spinning are laminated layers 3 to 5 (the number of layers is not limited) of sand or glass beads differing in grain size, containing liquid (preferably water) by more than 1 wt.%, and a wire netting 6, a porous plate 7, a nozzle plate 10, etc., are placed thereon sequentially. The assembly is tightened with bolts 11, inverted, heated, and then fitted on the spinning head to be used. By adding water, the fluidity of the fine particles is extremely decreased, and the disturbance of filter layers due to fluidity may be eliminated, so that the homogeneity of the filter layers may be maintained. Thus, troubles experienced in the conventional method may be solved. As a result, assembling of filter layers may be facilitated, and deviation of spinning melt may be eliminated.
