Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent generation of metering mistakes by using two metering devices which are made responsive to each other.
CONSTITUTION: A wire 2, which is molded by an extruder 1 and which is made to run by an extractor 3 such as a catapiller, is metered by a first metering device 4 such as a belt type counter. The extruder 1 made operative only in response to the metering operation so that it is metered by a second metering device 4 such as a digital counter which is made responsive to the extractor 3. As a result, the metering operation is doubly checked so that the metering operation is judged positive only when the metered values of the two devices 1 and 2 become coincident. Then, the mistaken metering operations are prevented due to the error in the reset of one of the devices 1 and 2.
