Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically perform developing and fixing of films by providing film-feed- and discharge rollers at the inlet and outlet of a processing solution vessel, a perpendicular rod for perpendiularly elevating the film at the central part and further a film cutter at the outlet, respectively.

CONSTITUTION: The film F which has been photogaphed is fed by means of the delivery rollers 4, 4' where a solenoid 14 is held de-energized, into a processing vessel 8 where the film sinks into the solution owing to the weight of a perpendicular rod 9. When the perpendicular rod 8 reaches the lowermost position and the film receives developing and fixing for a suitable time, the solenoid 14 is energized and the rollers 4, 4' make pressure contact to stop feeding the film 4. At the same time a motor M₂ starts running to drive the rollers 7, 7' to direct the film F to the outside of the vessel. Since the film F resets to the horizontal position, the horizontal rod resets to the original position. At this time, a cutter 17 actuates to cut the film F discharged. With such constitution the film having been photographed is subjected to automatic fixing readily and automatically.
