Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a servo-motor locking apparatus, which includes a pair of cylinder mechainsms each having oppositely positioned lock nuts each of which is located on the cylinder side and the piston side, respectively, and is movable in their sliding direction, thereby the operational stroke being reduced and the locking of the motor being effected quickly and easily.
CONSTITUTION: A lock nut 12 is mounted to each cylinder cover 4 of a pair of cylinder mechanisms in such a way that the lock nut 12 can move in the sliding direction of the piston, and an abutting surface 12A is formed on an end of the lock nut 12, the abutting surface being vertical to the driven direction of the piston. To a lock not 11 fixed to a piston rod 3 is threaded a lock nut 13 in such a way that the lock nut 13 can be moved in the sliding direction of the piston, and the lock nut 13 is formed with an abutting sruface 13A which is located opposite to the lock nut 13. When the pump is not operated, the pair of oppositely located lock nuts 12, 13 are rotated to approach each other and to abut the abutting surfaces 12A, 13A each other so that the guide ring 10 is locked. Thus the operational stroke is half-reduced, and the locking operation can be quickly and easily done.
