Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the subject method and device wherein a plurality of die material cut-shortening machines provided with blades of different contours are mounted on a bedplate, and said machines are operated separately by a lever mechanism or the like thereby to efficiently, carry out automatic processing a light-weight die material.
CONSTITUTION: A processing machine 3 consisting of a plurality of die material cut- shortening machines 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d and 3e provided with blades of different blades are mounted on a bedplate 2. When a work 1 is set in the processing machine 3, a motor 7 is rotated by the operation of a power source switch 5 and a foot switch 6, and an on-blade 19 moves downward by a lever mechanism, slotting processing or drilling processing of designated contour being applied to predetermined positions at the end parts of said die material 1.
