Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the non-toxic title composition having excellent adhesivity to paper, plastics, etc., and suitable as food packaging, etc., by compouding a specific acrylic urethane resin, a polyfunctional vinyl monomer, triethanolamine, and a photo-sensitizer.
CONSTITUTION: The title composition composed of (A) 100 parts by weight of a mixture comprising (a) an acrylic urethane resin containing ≥ 10 wt% of an acrylic urethane resin having ethylenic unsaturated bonds at both ends, e.g. a compound I (R1 is polyhydric alcohol residue; R2, R2' are II, III, etc.), and (b) 40W180 parts, based on 100 parts of (a) component, of a di-, tri- or tetra-functional vinyl monomer such as trimethylolpropane triacrylate, etc., (B) 0.1W4.0 parts by weight of triethanolamine, and (C) 0.1W10 parts by weight of a photo-sensitizer such as benzophenone, etc., and if necessary, (D) fillers, etc.
EFFECT: Resistant to the high temperature sterilization at 80W120°C when used as a food package.
