Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare novel hydraulic oil composition having excellent flame-retardancy and extremely high viscosity index, by compounding a specific organic phosphate with a specific amount of an aliphatic polyester.
CONSTITUTION: A composition composed of (A) an organic phosphate of formula I or II (R1W3, R'1W3 are H, 1W4C alkyl; the sum of the carbon numbers of the substitution alkyl groups in each benzene ring is ≤ 4; R4 is 4W12C alkyl), pref. triaryl phosphate, and (B) 5W10 wt% of a fatty acid polyester having a molecular weight of 5000W50000 (pref. 10000W30000) and derived from a 3W24C alkane diacid such as succinic acid and a 2W10C alkylene glycol such as ethylene glycol.
