Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep fuel-air ratio constant and to stabilize combustion by conducting the atomization and the evaporation of a liquid fuel in separate devices and reducing the ventilation air velocity of a damper.
CONSTITUTION: The atomized fuel outlet 11 of an atomization container 10 is connected with the opening in the lower face of an evaporation cylinder 1. A damper 12 is contacted with the cylinder 10, and is provided in its cylindrical surface with openings corresponding to the outlet 11 and an air inlet so as to form a fuel damper and an air damper. With a motor 20 driven to feed air into the container 10, and with a fuel continuously flowed down onto a rotary tray 22 for atomization, a portion of the atomized fuel flows through the openings of the damper 12 and collides with the heating wall of the cylinder 1, when it is evaporated. At the same time, air is fed into the cylinder 1 and mixed with the evaporated fuel, and the mixture is ignited and burnt. The damper 12 is rotated by an adjusting lever 17 so as to couple the fuel damper with the air damper, to keep the fuel-air ratio constant, and to adjust the combustion amount.
