Abstract
PURPOSE: Nylon chips whose water content is controlled in a specific range are melt spun and the surrounding area of the spinneret is uniformly covered with steam, thus permitting the stabilized malt spinning operation regardless of the throughput.
CONSTITUTION: When melt spinning is carried out using a spinning device that has no means of controlling the water content after the hot plate or chip-melting part, the water content of chips to be fed is adjusted to 0.1W0.3% and the surrounding area of the spinneret is uniformly covered with steam.
