Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the observation of temperature distributions, by comparing the temperature information on a designated position snd an infrared video signal, and by displaying the isotherms of the designated position in accordance with a comparison coincidence signal.
CONSTITUTION: Temperature data are set in temperature register TREG, a digital infrared video signal and the set data are compared by comparator COMP3, and a comparison coincidence signal is fed to character generator CG. By the comparison coincidence signal from comparator COMP3, character generator CG produces a white level signal, which is fed to DA converter DACV via switching unit VCS. Consequently, the temperature equal to the temperature at the designated position set in temperature register TREG displayed as a white level; thus the display of isotherms is performed.
