Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the channel selection of a TV receiver with a picture recording function by gating a channel selective signal.
CONSTITUTION: Through AND gates 3 and 4 gating signals by high-level outputs from inverters 9 and 10, a high-level channel selective signal generated by channel selection switch 2 is applied to TV receiver channel selector 5 and video recorder channel selector 4 for the channel selection of the TV receiver. Once recording lever switch 8 is closed to put the unit in a recording state, the output of inverter 10 is inverted into a low level to close gate 4 and the channel selective signal from switch 2 is applied only to unit 5 and never applied to unit 4. Next, when the unit is put in a recording control state with control switch 7 closed, the inversion of the output of inverter 9 closes gate 3 and also open gate 4 having been colsed by the high-level output passing through OR gate 13. As a result, the channel selective signal from switch 2 is applied to only unit 6, so that the channel selection of the recording- function TV receiver can be attained by a simple constitution of a couple of channel selection button units.
