Abstract

PURPOSE:To control master clamp for correct operation by keeping a clamp command member from being actuated until an operation member is brought to the position for operation when the master clamp member has been unlocked by control signal generated on a timer member. CONSTITUTION:A master coming from feed plate bed 18 actuates a microswitch 21 and stops upon contacting with a stopper 24 at the tip; after opertation of a start switch, the stopper 24 opens and the master is fed into an etching device. Then, it is fed into a plate feeding/discharging device 7 to operate a microswitch 12 and stops ar a stopper 15. In this case rear end of the master gets curved like chain line. Whenever etching on the rear end is over, a solenoid 43 is excited by the signal from a timer member to unlock a clamp command member 34, the stopper 15 opens to allow the master into a plate drum 1, which is clamped on a master clamp member 2 to printing.
