Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of sequence instructions without the need of an input program for operating a timer by operating the timer according to the state of data by relating the timer with the internal data memory part of a sequential controller.
CONSTITUTION: The sequential controller which executes a sequence by sequentially reading sequence instructions stored in program memory part 1 is provided with comparator 14 which makes a comparison between set time b-4 read out from program memory part 1 and the output of counter 11 counting timing clocks from timing generator 13. Next, the internal data memory part and a memory part stored with timer time are given identical addresses and the timer is related with the internal data memory part, thereby eliminating the need of an input program to operate the timer.
