Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the phase shift output featuring a large output level by controlling the output phase through variation of the emitter currnet of the 1st and 2nd transistors and at the same time by compounding the voltage or current via the compounding circuit.
CONSTITUTION: With supply of subcarrier signal V sent from signal source 10 to transistors Q1 and Q2, signal voltage -V and V featuring the opposite phase to each other are caused at the collectors of the transistors. And voltage V1 and V2 are obtained at the emitters of transistors Q3 and Q4; while voltage -V1 and -V2 are obtained at the collectors of transistors Q7 and Q8 respectively. At the same time voltage -V/2 and V/2 are obtained at the contact point between resistances R1 and R3 as well as the contact point between R2 and R4 each to be supplied to resistances R5 and R6. Accordingly, -(V1 + V/2) and -(V2 - V/2) are drawn out at terminals 21 and 22 respectively. Furthermore, -V/2 and V/2 are drawn out at terminals T11 and T12 each. As a result, the voltage at terminals T21 and T22 become the voltage featuring the opposite phases to each other with the phase corresponding to the level of the control voltage supplied to terminal T1. As the output voltage contains no distortion, the phase shift output can be obtained with a large level.
