Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the strength of the whole sintered ore and the yield of a specific grain size, by charging a sintering pallet with the upper mixture layer of coke additionally fed to the underlayer of a sintering material in a specific mixing ratio to sinter the layers.
CONSTITUTION: The sintering material 8 comprising a given amount of coke is charged into the branched ore feed hopper 5, and stored. The pulverized coke 15 is charged into the coke hopper 14 by the transportation unit 13. The hopper 5 is equipped with the drum feeder 9, weigher belt 10, and the control units 25 and 26, and the arithmetic unit 31 to feed a given amount of the sintering material 8 accurately to the pallet 19 in the form of the underlayer 21. The coke 15 from the hopper 14 is mixed with the sintering material 8 mined from the hopper 5 by the hopper 34 and the drum 18 to form the upper layer 22 on the layer 21, and the layers are leveled by the cut-off plate 23 and sintered.
