Abstract

PURPOSE: To assure accurate continuous supply of a fixed quantity, by providing a rotary stirrer between the falling port of a hopper and a turntable and providing a static frictional cutting-off plate between a scraper and the stirrer.
CONSTITUTION: When a turntable 3 is rotated, a stirrer 4 is revolved so that a granular material in and near the falling port of a hopper 1 is forcibly stirred by the stirrer 4 and forcibly introduced into the turntable 3 without making a bridge. The granular material is conveyed by the turntable 3 while the material is prevented by the action of the stirrer from slipping. The granular material is restricted to a prescribed volume by a static frictional cutting-off plate 7 and continuously picked out of a static scraper 5. The granular material is then conducted out of a system through a chute duct 6.
