Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain an olefinic resin composition having improved dirp-proof effect in contact with fire and remarkable flame retardancy, comprising a copolymer prepared by grafting a silane onto EVA, an inorganic filler, and an organic and an inorganic flame retardants.
CONSTITUTION: A flame-retardant resin composition comprising (A) a copolymer prepared by grafting a silane onto EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer), (B) 5W150 wt.% of an organic filler, e.g. aluminum hydroxide or talc, (C) 1W70 wt.% of a halogen-containing organic flame retardant, e.g. perchloro pentacyclodecane or chlorinated paraffin, and (D) 0.5W40 wt.% of an inorganic flame retardant, e.g. antimony trioxide or molybdenum trioxide.
